Monday Night Racing at PIR

An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Monday, repeating until June 24, 2019
Welcome to the 2019 Monday Nights PIR Bike Race Series that begins April 15 and will last through June 24. Races are held at Portland International Raceway in North Portland on a flat, closed, car-free circuit. Separate categories for beginners to more advanced cyclists, including Novice (ages 14 and up), Women (any age), and Masters Men (ages 30+,50+). Nightly races start with the Juniors event at 540pm. The race series is a great opportunity for novice-level riders to learn bike racing basics with free clinics throughout the season. Fast and fun racing for everyone. All you need is a helmet, a road bike, and a sense of adventure.
The course is a flat and wide 1.9-mile (3.05 km) loop with excellent quality pavement.
The circuit is closed to all car traffic.
Distance varies each week, depending on daylight available, field size, and weather, but will average
10-15 miles (Novice), 20-30 miles (Women), 20-40 miles (Masters Men). Exact distance and laps are announced at the start.

NEW FOR 2019:
Racers who participate in Monday Night PIR races in any category will be entered into a monthly Drawing. The More Races you do the more chances of winning. Multiple Grand Prizes each month and a few random prizes throughout the season. Below is the Grand prize for each month. Random Nightly raffles will be drawn based off the riders who race and prizes held for the following week.
