How Design & Data Improve Traffic Signals

December 11, 2018 at 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Yi-Min is an Engineering Associate at Kittelson and Associates, Inc’s Portland office. He is passionate about the data and design of traffic signals that impact our local transportation. In this talk, Yi-Min will discuss the invisible design behind the traffic signal, and how data and technology are helping your commute. He will discuss the elements that make up a traffic signal, the timing strategies behind it, and example projects in the Portland area.
