Corvidae Bike Club Womxn’s Ride by Magpie

March 8 at 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us for International Women’s Day! Meet up on March 8th at 2PM. Find us at the Peninsula Park Rose Fountain (Or the gazebo if it’s raining, too soon to tell!). Everyone is welcome! Bring love and respect. It will be a day to honor women all around the world. Follow the Magpie, Sole! This will be chill ride through NE/SE PDX no more than 13 miles. We’ll check out a few cool spots, details forthcoming. Carlos Diaz will be putting together a wicked, women artist playlist for us all; get at him for requests! 🌻🎶💃🏾

Additionally, this ride is food drive to benefit our friends at the Bradley Angle house. Please see their flyer for ideas! This organization is aimed to help survivors of domestic violence here in Portland. To put things in perspective, “1 of every 7 women aged 18-64 was physically abused by an intimate partner during the past year. This means that almost 28,000 women in Multnomah County (13.9%) were physically abused by their partners during the past year.” This is unacceptable. Please check in on the women in your life.

Please do not feel obligated to donate if it’s not in your capacity to do so! One cannot fill another’s cup with an empty one.
