Community Rally for Emergency Safety Improvements on 82nd
May 7 at 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
In the last 2 weeks, two people have been killed walking across 82nd Avenue in two separate crashes. 82nd Ave is one of Oregon’s most dangerous streets and must be changed before more people die.
Our community demands immediate action. We demand an emergency speed reduction, as well as funding to bring the safety standards up to compliance on 82nd Ave. Followed by transfer from ODOT to PBOT jurisdiction.
Invited Speakers include: Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon, Families for Safe Streets, Rep Khanh Pham, Oregon Walks ED Ashton Simpson, The Street Trust.
