Community Cycling Center Scavenger Hunt Fundraiser
October 2, 2020 at 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Need an excuse to ride your bike while the weather is still nice? Enjoy a scavenger hunt that benefits the Community Cycling Center!
About this Event
The Community Cycling Center is a bicycle nonprofit whose mission is to broaden access to bicycling and its benefits. To help support this mission, we are hosting a multi-day scavenger hunt that you can enjoy on your bicycle, and is safe to do during Covid-times. Bonus action: We are also hosting a raffle that people can participate in whether you want to do the scavenger hunt or not!
— On Friday, October 2nd at 4:00pm, all ticket buyers will receive the scavenger hunt clues and answer sheet at the same time! You have all weekend to solve the clues, but the rider who turns in their correct answers first wins!
— Ride all over Portland searching for clues with your mask on. Be sure to only ride with your pod*, or ride solo.
— Fill out your answer sheet that is emailed to you, and turn it into email@example.com as soon as it’s completed.
— All answers must be turned in by Sunday, October 4th no later than 6:00pm. We will check all answers for accuracy. The answer sheets will be scored on both accuracy and timing — so the fastest most correct answers earns more points!
— The winning scavenger hunter wins all of the glory, and a trophy for their heroic efforts!
— Winners for both the scavenger hunt and the raffle items will be announced Monday, October 5th!
Don’t forget to buy your raffle tickets for a chance to win some cool prizes from Patagonia, Castelli, Portland Design Works and more!
*Pods are defined as the group of people you regularly see, and share physical space with such as family members or roommates. By doing activities with your pod, you lower the risk of catching and spreading COVID-19.
**Due to the risks of COVID-19, the Community Cycling Center does not advocate for group rides outside of your pod, or unmasked rides. We want you to have fun and be safe.
