We’ll be in the Barrel Room. Go past the main ordering area at the bar, and through the door at the right. It’ll look like you’re going to the brewing area. Keep going to the two big doors towards the back and look for the sign saying Barrel Room.

Raise general awareness of the project, describe the purpose and need, review draft bikeway concepts and solicit feedback and suggestions for improvement. Current draft plans can be seen here. Discuss plan to engage advocates who live/work/visit the NW often, as this plan needs local champions.

Neighborhood greenways and Diverters by Default Policy | Daniel Amoni
Increasing vehicle traffic on greenways is making them more dangerous. Several members presented Garlynn Woodsong’s Diverters by Default policy proposal to PBOT last summer. Review policy and discuss how we can move it forward, and other ideas for action. How can greenways feel safe and comfortable for a broader age/ability spectrum of riders?

Discuss what folks think about making signs to put up on the Sunday Parkways routes that suggest how Greenways could be improved so that people feel safe to ride them everyday.
Direct action in light of recent traffic fatalities | Emily
14 people have died on Portland streets this year; last week several died within a few days. Should BikeLoud do some sort of direct action to protest?
