Our Weekend Event Guide is sponsored by Abus bike locks.

Welcome to (almost) the weekend. It goes without saying that it will be amazing because, well, as I’m sure you know already, the weather has finally turned to dry and warm.

Not only does the forecast look wonderful, but Filmed by Bike is here. Portland’s very own bike film fest kicks off with a big party and opening night screenings on Friday and features a whole weekend of bike-inspired, film-related fun.

Before you chill in the theater, there’s plenty of pedaling to do. Get all the details in our menu of rides and events below…

I love the Filmed By Bike Film Festival. It is like a New Year’s day for all of the bike fun of the year. It is also arguably the best festival in town (Yes, out of EVERY FESTIVAL.) See y’all at the street party tomorrow night!

We are lucky to have FBB in Portland. It is ground zero for Bike Fun! Tomorrow night is going to be a blast. I’ve been waiting all year for this!

Heads up that the Tulip Farm is absurdly beautiful. Good luck grimacing your way through a race while surrounded by a rainbow field of tulips.
