Regarding that Spalding bike vault. I got to say the old Federal Reserve building where I work has that one beat (it was the Federal Reserve after all). 🙂 And it’s been occupied since 2008.
My employer houses our bikes in the old gun range, and another tenant of the building has their bikes in the former gold vault (no pic).

That would actually be a good way for Jonathan to supplement his income from the site! The inclusion of good photos are one of the best parts of the site.
However, selling the photos in book form would probably then necessitate Jonathan getting “model releases” from everyone that is identifiable in all the photos. Not an easy task when they are usually streaming by at 10-20 MPH on bikes…
Are you sure that is true A.K? I remember discussions about this type of thing on flickr about five years ago. My recollection was that since the photos were taken in a public location there is no need for such a release. Any legal experts on the thread that could comment on this?
