This is just a friendly final reminder to fill out the Forest Park Cycling survey and comment form. Tomorrow is your last day to fill it out and it’s important that Portland Parks and Recreations gets feedback from as many people as possible.

The results of this survey will help inform the recommendations put forward by the Forest Park Single Track Cycling advisory committee that was assembled by Commissioner Nick Fish to expand biking opportunities in the 5,000 acre urban park.

That committee is expected to make their recommendation next week.

Parks spokesperson Beth Sorensen told me a few days ago that more than 350 people had completed the form as of April 26th. In addition to the 200 comment forms filled out at the open house on April 20th, Sorensen said that’s “A huge response in comparison to any public comment form we’ve had in the past, online or otherwise.”

Don’t be left out. If you care about Forest Park, please fill out the form. For background on this issue, visit our Mountain bikes in Forest Park story tag.

Thank you Jonathan for letting cyclists know about this – everyone’s response is helpful!

But please don’t fill it out multiple times -multiple times isn’t fair to others and is not in the spirit of such a survey. And, for the record, Parks will be able to see multiple responses from a person and will ignore all but one.
