NoPo Bikeworks plans benefit to expand program

North Portland Bikeworks, a non-profit, neighborhood bike shop located on Mississippi Street, wants to expand their long-running, free Repair Night program.

Director Kim Fey passed along this cool event flyer (drawn by none other than Shawn Granton) and said,

“We would like to be able to offer the program, which teaches people how to work on their own bikes, once a week instead of once a month. It’s a great program that keeps getting more and more full as the months go on.”

The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 14th at Free Geek (1731 SE 10th).

Kim and her crew are a jewel in the North Portland community and this sounds like a very fun way to support their work.

Let me just throw a plug in for NOPO bikeworks. I love them! They do excellent work at a reasonable price and are a shining star in our community.
