Wow! Sounds fun!

I got the impression from someone last year who did this job that, while somewhat fun, there is a lot more walking and stopping than there is cycling.
Imagine delivering things to the whole neighborhood you are standing in

I liken it to a postal person really, but, a little funner…

Goin’ postal? Naw – it was the best job I’ve ever had. Ever. (Of course, I was a salary man for 17 years. But still.)
You don’t know fun til you’re pulling a heavy-a** trailer up Mt Tabor trying to locate some squirrelly little street that ends about where you think your delivery address should be.
The hardest part is when you’re off work, with no trailer, you have to keep using the brakes so you don’t dust your friends on that little cruise up Alameda Ridge.

Yes, heavy ass trailer up Mt. Tabor, I have heard about that part too…..

I know it’s temporary, but does the position offer insurance?!

No the jobs do not offer insurance. But you do get really strong legs.
