Brains and bikes at OMSI IMAX

bikebrainstill

An interesting movie is coming to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) on March 6th. It’s called “Wired to Win” and according to the film’s website:

“the film combines spectacular live-action footage with cutting-edge computer graphics and medical imagery to demonstrate how each brain responds to experience and challenge in ways we’re only just beginning to understand.”

The images are sort of creepy, but it looks like it’ll be an interesting movie.

Isn’t this the film that was supposed to feature Tyler Hamilton before his current legal/sporting problems?

It is. Follows Jimmy Casper and Tom Boonen now, apparently. A shame. That stuff of Tyler on Luz Ardiden in the 2003 Tour woulda been epic.

It’s Jimmy Casper and Baden Cooke (not Boonen). It does have some clips of Tyler and if you look close – some of the footage for the FdJ boys is from more recent years (bikes are different – more current kit). They probably had to get more footage after the Hamilton debacle. It’s been in Seattle for a month and was very entertaining – scenery was incredible.
