Kick off Spring with the first street fair of the year! The Spring Thing will also be the launch of the City of Portland’s Northeast Hub Project (website with more info).

- Artist Annemarie Hoffman will be displaying her work. She will be showing abstract landscapes in wax, books that unfold on multiple spines like flowers, and other works.
- Penny Hill, LMT will be providing complimentary mini-massages at Milagros
- An acoustic duo will be performing on the street from 3 - 4 pm
- Pacific Power will at the street fair giving away a free Chinook Book to anyone who signs up for wind energy
- Nola Nuggets will be on-hand giving out free samples
- Vision PDX will be present. This is Mayor Potter’s community visioning project for the City of Portland
- Capoeira performance
- Free bike helmets and fitting for kids

- 11 am - 1 pm Balloon Art by Scott Davis. Animals and more will be made by the man who literally wrote the book on balloon art.
- Noon - 3 pm Breastfeeding Education and Support - A Beyond Birth Lactation consultant will be available from Noon - 3 pm to answer questions about breastfeeding, provide fittings for nursing bras, and share the latest information about the science and art of breastfeeding.
- 1 pm - 3 pm Face painting fun for kids
All Day - Art activities for kids using recycled materials from SCRAP. Also you can enjoy samples of organic, fair trade coffee in the Milagros’ Family Room!
