My day in Salem
Today I joined BTA lobbyist Scott Bricker for a trip to Oregon’s
capitol to learn more about how bike laws go from an idea to reality.

thanks chrzaszcz, glad you liked the article. it was a great trip and I'm thinking of making it a monthly thing. it would be cool to see how the bills and the session progress. ..especially if one of the BTA's bike bills made it all the way through to passing.

awesome blog article! i do advocacy on social justice issues in Washington State & one day hope to combine my bike love with my love for third house politics & do it professionally. as a first time observer you got a lot out of your visit on the capitol. keep it us as from what i remember your legislature is even more part time than ours.
