On test- The Madsen Urban Utility Bicycle-10

The bin has drain holes, but they’re small and the water doesn’t drain out as quickly as I’d like it to. I was thinking that it would be cool to put some wooden slats in the bottom to keep kids’ feet and bags out of standing water.

some nice teak slats would be beautiful. :) Did they loan you one of the prototype "pope-mobile" covers too? I'd like to hear how that works. We are waiting for one of those for our XtraCycle. One of the main complaints I have in transitioning from a bakfiets to an XtraCycle. -Scott
