Buffered bike lanes on SE Holgate-3

It will take some time for people in cars to understand it is against the law to drive in a bicycle only traffic lane.

Wow. Yeah, if it's the width of a car, you can count on cars driving down it, unless maybe split speedhumps are installed every 20 yards or so. I wonder what the diagonal lines are meant to designate. I could see them on the other side of the bike lane to indicate the door zone...

I would like to have seen the TWLTL a little wider with the difference taken out of the bike lane to discourage this sort of thing. In any case, another stripe could be added in the bike lane to further distinguish the buffer from the bike lane (and make it a little more uncomfortable for motorists to drive in.)
