Hey Jonathan, when did you get a D200? So, looking at this shot bigger, I think it could be much sharper, especially with the 50mm. You were shooting at 1/8000 f1.8. I would trade some of that shutter speed for a little bit more depth of field. It looks like the camera locked on to his tie or something . . . and at maximum aperture that puts things as close as his ears blurry. If you tried this shot at 2.8 or so, you'd find it a little more of Nick sharp, and still have some good bokeh.

I am a cycle-commuter, and I endorse Nick Fish. He is the best candidate in recent Portland history! I would also like to take this moment to endorse the Nikon D-200 that took this picture...best digital camera ever!
