The U.S. Surgeon General (Steven Galson), was in Portland today to award the BTA for a bike safety education program at Harriet Tubman Young Women’s Academy in North Portland. After the ceremony he joined the girls of the academy for a bike ride. He was in town to promote an anti-obesity initiative he is working on.
