Default Sellwood to Beaverton (scholls and 217)

Hi, looking to ride from sellwood to approx. scholls ferry road and hwy 217.

I have scoped a few routes, but wondering if anyone has any sage advice as far as safest route, etc.

Thanks

Go across the Sellwood bridge. Take the cloverleaf to the right that takes you under the bridge, then cross 43 at the light and proceed into Riverview Cemetery. Climb up through the cemetery to the top. At the top, make the following turns: right on Palatine Hill, right on Boones Ferry, left on Primrose (comes quickly!), right on Terwilliger. This will take you to Burlingame. Then turn left on Taylor's Ferry, and right on Spring Garden. Just after you cross I-5, turn right on 22nd, and then left on Multnomah. Multnomah is a long, straight, smooth road with nice wide bike lanes. Near Garden Home, it merges with Garden Home Blvd. At Garden Home, you can go around the recreation center and get on the bike path, which will take you to Scholl's Ferry. Or you can continue on Garden Home Blvd to Scholls, but the riding conditions deteriorate somewhat. There might be a way through the swim center to Scholls, otherwise you just have to go up to Allen, which is where the path puts you anyway. Unless they've seriously improved it in the last couple years (which is possible) I'd stay off of Oleson.

From Scholl's and Allen, it's easy to get where you want to go, and again, bike paths for pretty much all of Scholl's.
