Default Ass over teakettle

Witnessed an eye-popping ass over teakettle, head over handlebars spill Sunday afternoon.

Cyclist zipping between cars stopped at a red light, going south on Vancouver (at Skidmore, I think), pumping it up to run the light & nip behind a westbound car, glanced right at the last minute and saw us heading at him, eastbound. Luckily we stopped before the intersection; he slammed on his brakes and went sailing over his handlebars.

His forearms broke his fall, so he didn't crack his noggin, thank goodness. We stopped in the intersection to ask if he was OK, but by then he'd already scooped up the bits and bobs of his bike (somehow a wheel came off) and was striding manfully to the curb.

If anyone knows this cyclist (tall, thin, longish dark hair, hipster attire), let us know if he's OK!

Default uff da

poor guy. sounds like a serious pride wound. also sounds like he had it coming, just a little. maybe next time he won't think he's too cool to slow down at stop signs.
