This month at PDOT’s Bicycle Brown Bag series:
Legislative issues of interest to cyclists Thursday, February 15th, 12:00 - 1:00 pm, Portland Building auditorium Is the fresh air blowing through the halls of power a tail wind for cyclists? February’s Brown Bag will feature two speakers well-positioned to bring us news from the front of the legislative peleton: Karmen Fore, District Director, Office of Representative Peter A. DeFazio, will report on how the 110th Congress is shaping up for bikes. Rep. DeFazio is the new chair of the House Highways and Transit Subcommittee. Scott Bricker, Director of Policy and Education at the Bicycle Transportation Alliance, will talk about how bike and pedestrian issues are faring in this year’s state legislative session.
