I'm looking for a "how-to" book on simple, efficient bike repair that I can find in any book store (who am I kidding: Powell's). I have a bike that has some old pieces and it needs quite a few parts replaced. The problem is, I don't know how to do any of it, and to be truthful, I don't want to pay someone to do it for me. I learn quite well from books.
My primary interest is that the book shows me how to: 1.) Test functions like brakes, chains, etc.... 2.) Identify which pieces need to be replaced in a troubleshooting sense 3.) How to fix and maintain that new system. Any recommendations? |
