Default Bad experience again

The other day I noticed that i had developed a flat spot on my rear rim. I checked around for one, a double walled rear rim 700 x 25c, for my commuter. A mid 70's trek touring bike. Steel frames kick ass.

Most of the larger shops that I checked with had to order the rim. I couldn't wait, so I went down the City Bikes. The service was great, got the rim, installed and all. Well two days went by and the rim went way out of round. So I was near the Bike Gallery on Sandy Blvd, I went in and they fixed the problem. Apparently all the spokes were not tightened to proper specifications and some other issues. But I was a little displeased that city bikes sold me a rim without checking to make sure everything was good with their product.

Oh well...
