Revolver Rave

Just wanted to let other cyclist out there know what a gem of a bike shop dropped into our lap in NoPo.

Revolver Bike shop on N. Intersate ( and Portland Blvd.) has turned out to be a great first choice for all the "bikey" things I need from parts to unbelievably fair service prices.

I hesitate to even put this out there because I'm a bit selfish, but I really think when people do a great job at great prices and treat everyone fairly, they deserve a pat on the back and business success.

btw, they stay open till 7:00 on week nights! (except Monday).

it always amazes me when someone's first post is an advertisement, "rave", "recommendation"...or whatevs.

I'm not sure what's amazing about it, but a relevant question might be what the poster's interest is in the shop, i.e., is this actually advertising rather than discussion?

Sorry for not following the "protocol" of first postings Ben. I must have misread the heading on Tips and Advice that said "..experiences with shops..." to be NEGATIVE experiences. I'm just a happy customer not an employee and have nothing vested other than keeping a good shop in business.

You know, dont go to the shop. I dont care.

i've interacted on various message boards before and when you see something that appears to be an advertisement and its someone's first and only post....well, you call 'em like you see 'em. oftentimes, it IS someone with an agenda....looking to spam boards DIY style. if it isn't, great.
and occasionally you get a person that, in order to save face, will stick around to post a few replies on the board (to appear legit)...then drop off the board or go back to advertising.

Fellow first time poster here to second that rave review for Revolver. No, I have no vested interest other than its great to have a shop so close to home so I do hope he is successful.

revolver is an awesome shop. it's my neighborhood shop and i couldn't be happier about that. if they don't have what i might be looking for they've had no problems at all ordering it for me. that's great. plus the couple guys who you'll find working there are as nice and unpretentious as you'd hope and want bike shop guys to be.
