2006 Cycle for the Vision Make fitness a priority in 2006 along with Community Vision, Inc.’s Board Member and Special Event Committee Chair, Joe Bauschelt. The committee is currently planning “America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride” to benefit Community Vision at Lake Tahoe on June 4th, 2006. Joe and his wife Lisa will participate for the third year. They are committed to sharing their team cycling experience while fundraising for Community Vision. They understand the difficult decisions many parents are facing today regarding disabilities such as mental retardation, cerebral palsy and autism. Community Vision will provide the following to all participants: Coaching and classes Mentor support in training and fundraising Team training – both indoor and outdoor Clinics on fundraising, training techniques, injury prevention, stretching, hydration and nutrition Travel and accommodations to Lake Tahoe and event entry Transportation of bicycle to Lake Tahoe Dinners and race day meals provided Opportunity to ride 72 or 100 miles (We recommend 100!) An opportunity to learn more about people who struggle daily with disabilities and help break through the barriers labels impose Team members will get in shape and physically challenge themselves while raising money for Community Vision. America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride provides an opportunity for you to truly make a difference for a great local charity and ride scenic Lake Tahoe with friends. As always we have set rides every weekend with our coach and as always we will be riding Monster Cookie and Reach the Beach before we go down to Lake Tahoe. America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride - Lake Tahoe Sunday - June 4, 2006 Lake Tahoe, Nevada - The 15th Annual "America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride-Lake Tahoe" has built a reputation for not only its spectacular scenery, but also its great food and support. A 72-mile ride around the Lake, and full 100-mile century are offered. 3000 participants enter to ride each year.
