Bike accident SE Madison and 6th - 8:00a

On my way to work this morning, I passed a bike accident on SE Madison and 6th. It looked like a car tried to go straight on 6th and hit a biker going west in the bike lane on Madison. When I went by, the biker was strapped onto an ambulance board and surrounded by medics. If anyone knows who it was, please let him know that there's people out there hoping he's okay.

On that note, WTF was up with the four bikers who saw the accident, and then, in the name of, what - getting to work on time? - decided to play "I can beat the 18-wheeler to the intersection." Hint: you just saw a bike accident. Let the truck go first.

The biker's name is Rick Till, and he's a friend. He was talking as they helped him, so that's a good sign. Another friend said that his knee is pretty messed up. I called his girlfriend and other friends.
