On Sunday September 3, I managed to get my front wheel caught in the gap between the streetcar rail and the pavement (Lovejoy just west of 405). Several people stopped to check on me, but a fellow named Greg (I think) in a silver Civic put my bike on his rack and drove me to the Good Samaritan ER. He made sure I got checked in and then locked up my bike for me.

I had a significant knee laceration that required minor surgery, but no other serious injuries. My helmet saved me from a head injury.

Anyway, I wish I’d gotten his number, but I didn’t. Thanks again to this young man and his female friend who scraped a stranger up off the street and hauled him to the ER.
