Default white bmw suv sw 10th & taylor

This is my first really close call. I usually let things go, but this guy aimed his car and tried to hit me. Can we say assault with a deadly weapon?

I was in the left lane heading west on Taylor and crossing at the light on 10th by the library. After I crossed the street I moved over into the right lane so the cars behind me could easily pass. But instead of staying in the left lane and passing me, this BMW sped up and aimed his car right for me in the right lane. It was a very close miss so I spat on his car. No, I shouldn't have. But this was right after a tri-met bus tried to run me off the road(don't even get me started on tri-met--bike friendly my a**).

Of course, he got out of his car to yell at me. He tried to say it was because I didn't signal. Umm he was in the left lane aiming at me, now in the right lane. This has to do with signaling how? There is no good excuse for using your car as weapon. I now see why people carry mace. I am completely defenseless on my bike and felt especially defenseless at that time as a female that doesn't know how to fight.

Is it just me or does it seem like cars are getting more aggresive towards bikes lately?

With a corroborating witness (you're a witness too) and an I.D. of the guy and his vehicle, you could have the basis for both criminal and civil complaints against this guy.

always keep a handful of 5mm nuts in your jersey pockets, works better than spit.

Cool wow master of obvious nishiki

Did you see the part where the driver aimed his car at me and intentionally tried to hit me? Yeah a little spit on car for trying to kill me with your car is nothing. good thing I didn't have some 5mm nuts or a my ulock out. I'm thinking about starting to carry a stun gun for these crazies.

I also read the part where you said that you "shouldn't have"

The car did something wrong and you did to. No sympathy here from me.

Default Girls that Spit...

Are girls that Rock!
I like blowing kisses to unseemly drivers, or flashing the peace sign.
