Default Pubs on the coast

My riding partner and I ride from PDX to Pacific City, just for the Pelican Brewpub. Does anyone know of any other pubs in the north coast that are on the beach? Pelican's perfect, but we'd like to expand our horizons a bit. Thanks

There's a Rogue brewery on the bay in Newport.

Thumbs up

ICM International C-Food Market
(541) 997-9646
1498 Bay Street
Florence, OR

Don't let the name scare you away.... right on the water in "Old Town", a nice bar with micro-brews on tap.

And if you happen to get hungry, try the Cioppino.

And a brew pub in Astoria:
Wet Dog

Smile Thanks

A little more south than I wanted to go, but we'll look at routes to take us to Newport.

I've been to the one in Astoria, not terribly impressive, and it's smoky. Can't remember if the food was good, but I do remember the smoke. Of course, it was winter and everything was closed up.

Was at the Pelican today after our ride (98 miles). Excellent again.http://www.bikeportland.org/forum/im...cons/icon7.gif

Default Rogue in Newport

Is the Rogue pub in Newport fairly casual. My riding partner is all geared to go (it's about 115 miles from where we start- ugh!). Thanks so much for the tip.

I'm sure you will fit in just fine. I don't know of very many places on the coast that aren't casual.

Hope you enjoy your ride.

Default Been to Lighthouse

but it's on 101, not the beach. It's a nice place, but there's no beating seeing the waves.
