Helmet recycling

I crashed mountain biking this weekend. I came away unscathed, but my helmet made the ultimate sacrifice cracked in a few places while protecting my noggin like a champ. Does anyone know if you can recycle old helmets?

P.S. Helmets really work. I probably wore this one several thousand times before I really need it.

Many have crash replacement programs.

Send them your helmet and get a discount on a new one.
