Default To NW 19th & Johnson from Lloyd Center

I have to get from Lloyd Center to NW 19th & Johnson, and in the past I've used the Broadway Bridge. Wondering what the bridge is like at this point, and if I'd be better off taking the Steel, going up Naito, left on 9th to Johnson. Mind you, I'll be on a tandem, so if the Broadway is sketchy I'd rather just avoid it. Thanks.

The Broadway bridge is fine, the bike lane is open in both directions so it's basically back to normal. The hard part will be getting to NE Johnson because Lovejoy is all torn up. You'll come off the bridge, head right & down the hill. At the light turn right and do the detour around the work on Lovejoy or put your big old tandem up on the sidewalk in front of the condo building there on the corner & past Starbucks.

Try it, you'll be fine.

Thanks, Boneshaker. Looks like I can detour up to Overton. Broadway it is.
