Default Suit

Outfit-wise I was thinking that someone would/could come up with a lit spandex cycling skin suit. As ridiculous as that might look I don't think it is any less ridiculous than the fashionable race cycling outfits and it would have the distinct advantage of being more visible.

The light suits used in filming are actually lit in reality not CGI.

that Down Low Glow is exactly what I did last night to my rear wheel... mounted a blue cold cathode tube in there...

my friend mounted one along the bottom of his top tube... gives that cool pavement glow, and lights up his socks...

...

Tron suit, been done, but could use finishing...

Yeah and in this case I would say that any product marketed towards geek cyclists today would need to trend towards the color scheme and cut of the TRON Legacy motorcycle suits that Disney has plans to merchandise from over a year ago!

Would prefer more lighting light like the old style but you have to work with the real world tech and what would actually survive more than 5 uses and repeated laundering.

Sorry, grew up with engineers for parents: everything is an analysis of system details .

Default More TRON Gear

Fibre Flare™ is a portable self contained safety device having a flexible solid core side emitting fibre optic element interposed between two electronic housing ends; inside each of the housing ends is a single high intensity LED. When the LED’s illuminate they emit a high intensity uni-directional light beam that is directed into each end of the fibre optic core; the fibre optic then distributes the LED light input and illuminates along its entire length to emit a high intensity omni-directional light output visible from almost any direction at distances over 300 meters (constant or strobe).
