This VERY Special Person is someone who I haven't seen in 20 years. She won't be the US for long, and has heard that BBQ is something not to miss. I will only have a few hours of time with Her again, and I need this to be the BEST possible experience. This could possibly be the last time I will be able to be in Her physical presence ever. I can't screw this up.

For tasty ribs, Reo's is apparently the current hot ticket amongst Portland area food trendies. It's also the joint that's been getting a lot of negative reaction from neighbors for suffocating the neighborhood in dense bbq smoke. This ain't your basic backyard weber at work. Supposedly, Reo's is trying to fix the situation. On the news, the owner didn't appear to be very receptive to the neighbors situation.

Sorry, I don't have much of a bbq palate. I get it at home when I get it ....that's the best!

I thought Reo's was on TV Hwy in Aloha--did he get a second location or move the joint? Snoop Dogg's uncle does do some pretty fine BBQ, although the atmosphere was pretty stark (i.e., pretty much like an indoor picnic) when I went to the Aloha location.

Reo's moved to that new location. Get there early, because the later offerings are not quite as good.

On Monday, I had a WONDERFUL reunion with my Ex-fiancée (VERY LONG story, and I'm not going to share it with everyone). I had a lot of fears that things wouldn't go as well as they did. I knew we wouldn't be getting back together, but there was a lot of healing that needed to happen.

Due to a misunderstanding, and lousy timing, we didn't have our reunion until the day she was going home to England. We ultimately had to settle for Wendy's at PDX. Still, we had a good visit, and I'm getting the closure I needed.

Once again, Thanks to those who offered their suggestions.
