McKenzie Pass Start
I just saw on ODOT's site that the McKenzie Pass is about two weeks away from opening for bikers. I'm really pumped. Is there an official starting, or suggested starting, point to start on the westside? I am toying with either biking to Sisters or all the way to Bend. It's looking like a Memorial Day weekend ride!

You can probably drive to the gate at Alder Springs. There is a campground there, so you should see it on maps. IIRC it's about 2200' in elevation, with the pass at around 5300'. I would be surprised if the pass isn't still snowbound by the 22nd, but it's still a gorgeous ride with no cars. Make sure your brakes have plenty of rubber ...
