NW Albertson Rd on Bald Peak

I'm looking at Bald Peak and see a NW Albertson Road that goes down to Springhill Road. Is that navigatable on a street bike?

I haven't been on the road, but a friend of mine tried to ride up it on his cross bike with slicks on last week.
It's steep and all gravel.
Going uphill, he said there was one spot where it was steep enough that he couldn't keep traction w/ slick tires.

Scratch off Albertson Road from my list. Dang, looked like a nice road down to Springhill.
