New guy
Thought I'd put up a new guy post first off. I moved to the Portland area in December. Before that I was in Utah for six months working and before that 13 years in Vegas. Just starting to get used to the area and the rain.... Oh the rain... lol. Right now I just have a couple Bmx bikes and try to ride as much as I can. I come from a pretty strong mountain biking background and spent many years commuting by bike as well. My main goal is to get back to serious mtb'ing by this summer. That is if I can find work in this crazy economy.

Welcome, MIsfIt! I just moved here in January from New Hampshire. I'm a roadie myself, but understand there's not much mountain biking in Portland. Plenty right outside the city, though.

Unfortunately totally aware of the lack of good mountain biking in the Portland area. lol. I am going down to be heading out to Bend next month for a weekend of riding. Can't wait for that. If I like it there I may consider relocating eventually.
