Lightbulb Talked to Ron Kroop about 99W's gravel...

Ron Kroop is ODOT's District 2A's manager. I met him in person on Wednesday night at the Hwy 217 Open House.

He said that he decided to inspect 99W's gravel after hearing my call to the maintenance line's afterhours voicemail. He said he found it embarrassing how bad it was out there. Unfortunatly his crews were promised to another area for the remainder of the week, but he was planning on having them out there on Monday or Tuesday (2/23 or 2/24) to sweep it for us. I pressed for Monday as that is the day I typically find myself headed for Sherwood.

Imagine what you might have been able to talk to him about had you met him at the Open House last Wednesday... hmmm

When opportunities knocked, did you open the door?

Default Called again as conditions are bad again...

Rode out to Sherwood last night, there are some areas that are nearly as bad as they were during the winter... it'll sure be nice when they can get all the gravel up from winter.
