Hint: This one might be hard if you never make it out of the City of Portland proper. Note the grooves for bicycle tires. Very handy, indeed!

I think looking at the flickr page would make it too easy, but it is nonetheless required per their TOS.

As to your image, I'm stumped...

The tower is on SW Carl Place.

The stairs with the tire gutters (which I never use) are on the MUP by the Fish Hatchery in the Columbia River Gorge between Cascade Locks and, um, where the trail abruptly ends at that creek, and you've got to hop onto the I-84 shoulder heading westbound and get off at the first exit and get onto the scenic highway.

Wow, some really cool photos. I love the angle on that tower k'tesh and the follow-up by jr is fantastic. Can we make a rule for those posts that don't get a reply within 5 days we start over? That way, if someone posts a really hard pic the thread doesn't die.
