Powerline Trail News???

Received this as a PM from someone who apparently cannot post (yet).

Have you seen the work on the Powerline trail that goes north/south from TV Hwy to Davis rd. Google maps show the south end

I rode to the top of the hill from the south (Burtwood Park) and the view was impressive.

Do you have any news in regards to this project?

Regrettably... No, I don't. However, that would be the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District's baby. You might try there.

I recall hearing about this by looking at one of their maps where a dotted line was drawn in to indicate "future path plans." This goes right up and through my own neighborhood and I think it is fantastic. Seems that they are just about finished also. Hooray for safer shortcuts and avoiding Milikan way and other busy streets and for more serene scenery!

The trails guy had a conflict and didn't attend, so I didn't get to ask. I'll call him tonight (if I have the strength, I'm heading into PDX for the Bike Commute Challenge's Party, and I'm on Mk VII... 45lbs of HEAVY duty bike light platform).
