I agree with Simple Nature: you need an action cam!! You could probably find one of those lipstick cams (as in: as small as a tube of lipstick). Much smaller than the action cam, although you can easily mount the action cam on your helmet.

You don't need a bar extender. You need whole 2nd handlebar (like a double-stack) ... on a quick release mount so you can just pop the whole thing off and cart it inside with you. Theft free!
