Default My first close call

So today I actually had 2 firsts, my first crash and my first close call. Going to work this morning, cruising west down Cornell just coming to 173rd and I'm on the brand new pavement, I see it gets rough a little ways down and I decide to go back up to the regular road, I completely miss the ledge and my bike slides to a halt and I go flying off in the middle of the road. Luckily, noone was coming so I didnt get squashed. I popped up and went on my way none the worse for wear, until I got to work and most of my breakfast fruit was flat Coming home i am just past 185th on cornell and a car flies across the road, illegally from a turn only lane out of the mall area, into the lakes apts, no problem with that one its the litlle chickadee and her BF in the lowered cutlass following, she didnt see me but he did, I anchored my brakes and yelled out "HEY HEY!!" he's like woah sorry! and she still didnt see me!
...on your left!

Unhappy Glad to here you're ok...

I can't count the times that the passenger spots me and the driver doesn't...

Glad to hear that the worst of it was the bruised ego and fruit.

Take Care Out There!
Riding my bike is MY pursuit of Happiness!!!
