Caution: Debris!!

Hi all--

If you're riding down in the Lake Grove area around exit 290 of I-5, please be very careful: a lady in a volvo ran the light coming off Northbound I-5 at exit 290 and obliterated her car in the side of a semi. There's glass and plastic shards and metal pieces everywhere.

This is on the East side of the overpass; on the Joe's, Baja Fresh, Performance Bike side of things, not the Bridgeport Village side of things.

When I say everywhere: think, curb to curb. Apparently, it was exciting, and she's lucky she has all those airbags to keep her safe.

Interesting you wrote this. On the ODOT bike survey, I put down that instead of all new projects, perhaps devoting funds to simply sweep up the current bike lanes would be a good use of money as well.
