New to this forum - Introduction
Hi everyone,
Nice to be a member of this forum! I am 41, been actively riding since I was 4 years old. I grew up in India and lived there till I was 20, so I know all about bicycling as a means of transportation for the whole family, not just recreation!  I live in downtown Beaverton and either bike commute or do a bike/MAX combo to the Intel campus in Hillsboro on most days. With New Seasons Market and the library within walking distance from my home, I don't find the need to drive more than maybe once a week at most. I have already learned a lot about bicycling as an integral transportation mode after reading these forums and bikeportland.org, so I am hoping to continue to learn and hopefully contribute as a member of this forum! Welcome to the forum.
Where exactly is *downtown Beaverton* anyway? Wave if you ever see a recumbent trike on your commute.
