Last summer I traveled to CA to visit friends and relatives and spent over $600 on rental cars. Never again.
So, BP readers, I need your folding bike recommendations. Use: Train/Plane travel with multi-model commuting on either end. I'm interested in people who've used travel cases that convert to trailers--was it relatively easy to transition? I'd like a bike that takes rear and front racks and can hold full sized panniers in case I want to do light touring. Small fold/ease of carrying is important too. Budget is somewhat flexible. Thanks in advance. |

Ride as many folders as you can and let the ride decide...you'll likely pick a BF They're based in Eugene and offer tours of their factory. http://www.bikefriday.com/ Last edited by PDXGS; 06-29-2008 at 07:34 PM. |
