In "Better Off Dead" the paperboy and his buddies use their BMX's to deliver terror to Lane Meyer.

K'Tesh: I can't believe you listed both "Spirited Away" and "Kiki's Delivery Service" while leaving out Miyazaki's other stand-out flick "My Friendly Neighborhood Totoro". (both my kids' favorite movie) - there's about 5 scenes on bikes or with a bike in them.
of course, I always wince watching the scene with dad and his two little girls riding a bike down country roads with no helmets on... ![]() -- Last edited by K'Tesh; 05-11-2008 at 04:05 PM. Reason: fixed smilie |

I second "The Flying Scotsman" by Douglas MacKinnon.
"Cyclo" by Anh Hung Tran. Very sad movie, but show the day to day of a bike messenger in the third world. Tran also directed "Scent of Green Papaya." |

Fun flick and all about bikes. Includes some great mountain bike scenes, a grey hair, some bike messengers, and a discussion about Shimano Vs. Camponolo that needed no subtitles.
The grin whenever she rides is great.
