I was heading east on Burnside the after of 2/17 when a Ford truck went zooming by at about a foot or less from my left side. I was in the second lane from the right, going straight on Burnside. When I pulled up next to him he was all macho and I told him he should watch where he is going. He said if he wasn't watching I would have known it. As he pulled away some other bicyclists came up to confirm what an asshole he was. Be on the lookout for a redneck in a brown pickup.
Not real close since I and others weren't hurt but with someone like that it is only a matter of time. |

Burnside is no fun to Bike. I always take Ankeny. Seems to have a lot of that type of action.

"When I pulled up next to him..." tatt2ed
Hey, tatt2ed, l-i-c-e-n-s-e p-l-a-t-e n-u-m-b-e-r. Include it with a nice little account of your experience, to the police dept. You rode up next to him from behind, right? Is there any reason you couldn't have gotten the number? |
