Over the last week, I've tried it on three computers (One Mac, two PC's), and I'm not able to get the front page articles with video and/or slideshows to load. IE:

I have sometimes had the same problems this week-- It starts to load the page, then goes to "IE cannot open the page".
I just hit the "back" button in IE and it brings the page I want up just fine. I thought it was just me and IE!

Dutchman, I've found that if I use Firefox or Safari, I have little to no problems opening the page. It may be an IE problem.

I use Firefox with dial-up. Because of the dial-up, I don't even bother with the vids, and rarely the slide-shows. Usually, the bikeportland mainpage loads right up. The exception seem to be occasions such as at least once this week around 11am: bikeportland wouldn't load up, but other sites I went to easily did. From that, I gather it's a problem with bikeportlands server or some such thing.
I've been more curious why main page stories seem to be disappearing off the main page earlier than usual. Maybe the number of new stories has been greater than usual, pushing relatively new ones off early. The Monday Roundup disappeared Tuesday night if I remember correctly. |

I'm having the same problems as K'Tesh but only with every second or third article on the front page. Sometimes I can eventually get them to open if I continue to retry, but mostly I just give up.
Any word on what the problem may be? |
