Angry Tri-Met... again!

TriMet drivers must really have a bone to pick with cyclists.

This is along NB 158th from Walker toward Cornell today, May 1st, 2013 at about 2:45PM.

This lame-brained driver parked in the bike lane at the light at Walker (no passenger exchange) to keep me from getting up to the light (not that I'd ride to the right of a bus anymore anyway), and when he/she proceeded, rode continuously in the bike lane until the bus disappeared over the hill right before Cornell. Caught this short video of just what I was looking at.

That driver might just have to explain his/her actions tomorrow.

did you hear anything back from TriMet?

there are lots of drivers that don't respect the bike lanes... on my previous commute the #71 driver would stay in the bike lane for many blocks on SE Flavel...

Yes, I got 2 emails back telling me that the route supervisor was informed. I don't know what the drivers are thinking. Are these drivers "helping" enforce -their- rule about staying away from their right side? It just sets a very poor example to other drivers.
