Angry Allstate "Mayhem" Bike Messenger Radio Ad

While sitting and enjoying lunch today, I heard a new one of those Allstate "Mayhem" ads. I have yet to find the plug on the internet, but I found it offensive.

It went something like:

I'm an angry self-righteous bike messenger. I don't ride by any rules of the road except for my own. You just rode into my space, and now I'm pounding on your car shouting vulgarities. You didn't see the light just change and hit the back of the car ahead of you..."
Why do I get the feeling that regular cyclists are going to feel a backlash from motorists thanks to this ad?

I wonder if Allstate got the idea from this kid's video:

or from their own actor's experiences:

Riding my bike is MY pursuit of Happiness!!!
