I hear about these benifit rides after they are already over is there some kind of website that list these rides/benifits So I won't miss them

I agree... I didn't even know about the STP until news stories came in about it being over...
I think that happened with the Bridge Pedal as well... but I really only look here and at Shift for rides... |

ORBike.com has a very good calendar of rides, charity and club. I signed up for their newsletter and now I get notice of all kinds of rides, all over Oregon.
Plus they have a pretty good bike blog about events, tips and tricks, etc so that's handy. |

Just a couple of suggestions - my all time favorite organized ride was the Crater Lake Century, which I did two years ago:
http://www.craterlakecentury.com Another one that was really enjoyable was Jackson's Ride the Gorge, which I completed last weekend: http://jacksonsridethegorge.org The scenery on these two rides are epic (so is the climbing). Scott |
